1.FM has done it again - offering us a superb channel for Bossa Nova Latin music, to make your moves to. I think by now we know that 1.FM is a quality platform for music and this stream is no exception. My good friend Wiki has informed me that Bossa Nova literally means 'New Wave' or 'New Trend'. Bossa Nova became popular with students and jazz lovers in the 1950s and 1960s and is today one of the best-known Brazilian music styles abroad. You see, everything in life moves in a circle somehow doesn't it .. 'New Wave' 20 years on from the birth of Bossa Nova, was coming from a very different place and sound indeed (think Duran Duran) - so we should be due another 'New Wave' soon I imagine. I wonder what it will sound like next time around?
