Unreleased Michael Jackson Tracks Discovered in Abandoned Storage Unit

A significant discovery has been made in the music world with the uncovering of 12 unreleased Michael Jackson tracks in an abandoned storage unit in the San Fernando Valley, California. The tapes, dating back to 1989-1991, were found by Gregg Musgrove, a former California Highway Patrol officer, in a unit that once belonged to music producer and songwriter Bryan Loren, who collaborated with Jackson on his eighth studio album, Dangerous.

The collection includes tracks such as Don't Believe It, which reflects Jackson's frustrations with media rumors, Seven Digits, referencing morgue identification numbers, and Truth on Youth, a rap duet with LL Cool J. These recordings also feature conversations and creative discussions between Jackson and Loren, offering a unique glimpse into their collaborative process.

Despite the historical significance, the Michael Jackson Estate declined to purchase the tapes, clarifying that they do not own the physical copies but retain the copyrights. As a result, the recordings cannot be commercially exploited or publicly released. Musgrove plans to auction the tapes, which are expected to fetch a seven-figure sum, likely ending up in private collections.
