Oasis Fans Beware: Ticket Scams Surge Amid Reunion Tour Announcement

Oasis fans have been hit hard by a wave of ticket scams following the announcement of the band’s highly anticipated reunion tour, marking their first performance together in 16 years. Lloyds Bank reports that Oasis-related scams have accounted for 70% of all concert ticket fraud since the tour’s announcement on August 27, with fans losing an average of £346, and some facing losses of up to £1,000.

Most scams are originating from social media, particularly Facebook, where fraudsters create fake ads for discounted or “sold-out” tickets. Concertgoers aged 35-44 have been especially targeted, often tricked into upfront payments for tickets that don’t exist. To avoid these scams, fans are urged to buy tickets only from reputable sources.

While planning for the concert, fans can enjoy all their favorite hits on Exclusively Oasis on YouRadio.
