Noel Gallagher Joins Supergroup Mantra of the Cosmos for New Single "Domino Bones"
Updated Jan 09
Noel Gallagher, former Oasis guitarist and these days leader of Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, has joined the psychedelic supergroup Mantra of the Cosmos for their latest single Domino Bones (Gets Dangerous). The track features an all-star lineup including Shaun Ryder (Happy Mondays) on vocals, Andy Bell (Erasure), Zak Starkey (Oasis) on drums, and Bez (Happy Mondays) on percussion. The single, set to be released on a limited edition vinyl run on January 19th, will debut alongside two live performances at Liverpool's legendary Cavern Club. Gallagher himself describes the group as "like Dylan, Dali and Ginsberg on a rocketship to the moon to have it with the Clangers". This collaboration comes on the heels of the Oasis reunion announcement for a 2025 world tour. Zak Starkey praised the collaboration, highlighting Noel's admiration for Shaun Ryder, whom he calls the "king of lyrics" and "the British Bob Dylan".
