Ed Sheeran to Make History with First-Ever Concert in Bhutan as Part of Mathematics Tour

Ed Sheeran is set to make history by becoming the first international artist to perform in Bhutan, with a concert scheduled for January 24, 2025, at the Changlimithang Stadium in Thimphu. This event is part of his global “+–=×÷” (Mathematics) tour, which has been ongoing since April 2022 and is slated to conclude in September 2025.

Tickets for the concert are remarkably affordable, ranging from $10 to $101, reflecting Sheeran's commitment to making his music accessible to fans worldwide. The ticket prices are categorized into different zones, with the highest tier priced at $101.

However, international visitors attending the concert will also need to pay Bhutan's Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) of $100 per person per day, which supports environmental conservation and community development initiatives. All tourists must book their trips through a registered tour operator to manage visa arrangements.

The concert promises to be an unforgettable experience, featuring music from all of Sheeran's albums since 2011, including hits like "Perfect" and "Shape of You." This historic performance marks a significant cultural milestone for Bhutan and is expected to be a memorable event for both local and international fans.
