Axl Rose Settles Lawsuit Filed Under New York's Adult Survivors Act

Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose has settled a lawsuit filed by former Penthouse model Sheila Kennedy, who accused him of sexual assault and battery in 1989. Kennedy alleged that Rose violently assaulted her in a New York City hotel room, resulting in severe emotional, physical, financial, and psychological distress.

The lawsuit was filed under New York's Adult Survivors Act, which allows adult victims to sue over alleged attacks that occurred decades ago. Rose's legal team had denied the allegations, stating that the incident never happened and that Rose had no recollection of ever meeting or speaking to Kennedy.

Despite maintaining his innocence, Rose has agreed to settle the lawsuit. The terms of the settlement have not been disclosed. This resolution comes after Rose's initial denial of the allegations and his confidence that the case would be resolved in his favor.
